Q. I’m new to yoga, what class should I try first?
A. If you have never done any form of exercise, are recovering from an illness or injury or need more stress relief and flexibility it is recommended that you begin with a Gentle Yoga class. If you are currently active, are looking for a change from your regular routine or are interested in a more physical experience you can begin with a Hatha or Power Yoga class.
Q. What do I need for class?
A. A yoga mat (rental available), water (also available with your own container), a towel for power , hot yoga or pilates classes.
Q. What should I wear?
A. Comfortable clothing you would normally exercise in. No sneakers, all classes are done bare footed.
Q. How long are classes?
A. Most classes are 60 minutes though we do have some shorter and longer classes. Please check the schedule to see class times and duration.
Q. How much are classes?
A. Your first class is $5.00. We then have class cards and monthly pricing options.
Q. What is yoga studio etiquette?
A. Please silence all electronics upon arrival to the studio, refrain from wearing strong fragrances or wearing dangling jewelry. Keep conversations quiet before class as people like to meditate or rest before class. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class time, doors lock once class begins. If you are new to the studio arrive at least 10 minutes before your first class. Please move your mat as you see the room fill.
